Patient's Rights

 

CLIENTS HAVE THE RIGHT TO RECEIVE THE CLIENT BILL OF RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

Our goal is to promote the client's interest and well-being and to ensure that their civil and religious liberties are not infringed.

Procedures

  • Each client admitted to G.E.M. Health Care Agency is given information regarding their bill of rights and responsibilities, advance directive, aide assignments, agency material and if applicable client's pay agreement.
  • The Home Health Care Director or Supervising Nurse will:
    • Review the above information with the clients.
    • Request a signature of the client, family, or significant other.
